Children Welfare Centre Law College

Children Welfare Centre Law College, established in the Year 2010, aims to impart best of knowledge in the field of Law. It is located in the Western Suburbs of Mumbai at Marve Road, Malad (West). The College is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and recognised by the Bar Council of India and Government of Maharashtra. The trust has also acquired the Hindi linguistic Minority status.

The objective of the College is to provide excellent academics and make an effort to create an aura that induces passions for learning along with the inspiration for decisive thinking and assessment; to train and inspire students to become the best professionals.

To provide quality legal education in order to promote legal and ethical values in the students and to inculcate in them the sense of responsibility towards the achievement of the objectives enshrined in the Constitution of India.

To promote legal awareness in the society so as to make it responsive to human rights/values with a view to achieve greater social and economical justice.

To prepare the students to be humane and competent lawyers and also develop in them a sense of responsibility as law abiding citizens and to serve the society in the field of legal services , law, reforms, policy planning and legislation etc.

The Law College offers scope for wider opportunities other than Advocates , such as employment Public prosecutors, Govt. Pleader, Law Officer, Solicitor, Attorney General, Advocate General, Notary/Oath Commissioner, Legal Advisor etc.

Besides the regular lectures, the college organizes a series of Guest lectures by eminent experts in the field of Law, such as seating or retired judges of various Courts, Sr. Advocates, Sr. Law Professors, activists in the field of Law. Seminars, Workshops and Symposiums are arranged for guidance on contemporary issues.

The College offers two Law Courses.

1. LL.B. Three years Course (after Graduation) , and

2. B.L.S. /LL.B. Five years Course (after HSC i.e. XII Std.)

Both the courses have semester pattern as prescribed by the University of Mumbai. The LL.B. has six semesters spread over 3 years and B.L.S./LL.B. has ten semesters every year, which is to be cleared by the students.


The college encourages students to participate in various curricular, Co-Curricular activities.

• The College conducts Seminars, arranges literacy camps, workshops and Legal –Aid Camps.

• The College also conducts STUDY-TOUR to learn and understand the Socio-Economical-Legal issues

• The College encourages students to prepare legal- research essays, Socio-Legal and Eco-Legal topics, Visits to courts are arranged.

• The College conducts Moot- Court, Debates, Elocution competition, etc. and motivates students to participate in various Intra & Inter-Collegiate competitions.



The hi-tech computer lab of the college has many latest computers with modern software and internet access. It is supervised by professional computer experts.


With the facility of LCD Projectors and good audio systems, the centre is used for screening educational films.


A well equipped gym is set up for the students who are trained under the guidance of expert instructor.
